The Islan of Garlan as seen from sea
The island of Garlan in a small land mass off the western coast of Arachna. The only settlement is the village of Garlan on the coast with a port for travel to and from the island. The area is largely deciduous woodland with one tall mountain near the centre of the island called the Grail Mountain. Within the mountain is an idol, revered by the people of Garlan. It is a legendary sword, to be wielded only by the most accomplished swordsman. The site of the idol is a common site of pilgrimage so there is a road to it along the mountainside.
