Grandia II Boss

Valmar's Body is a boss from Grandia II. It is encountered inside Valmar's Body. Valmar's Body appears alongside the Left Tentacle and Right Tentacle which make up the whole monster. Valmar's Body has the ability to cast Suck In, Zap! and Zap All.

Battle Strategy

Start using your most deadly moves that connect to all foes and soon his tentacles will be history. When that happens concentrate on the body with your most powerful single spells.

Valmar's Body's spells are not very powerful but it has a very powerful move, Strangulation. This does a major damage in addition to decreasing all your stats by 1 level.

Hard Mode

The most important technique is keep away from both tentacles, one attack can give your group around 1000 HP hurts. Use Runner to boosts characters' movement to avoid their attack. After that using Cold to slow down their IP, and Speedy to increase our team's IP. After you find yourself comfortable, boost up the attack by using WOW and using combo to defect the boss.
