The Left Head is part of the Boss Valmar's Core in Grandia II. The Left Head has the ability to cast Avenging Claw, Howl, Howlslash, Burnflame, Burnstrike, Crackle, Tremor and Quake.
Battle Strategy[]
Valmar's Core is possibly the toughest in the game and will be very difficult even for the strongest of parties. It's advised to divide the boss into two main parts; the Core and its heads. By destroying its heads you will disable its recovery magic as well as his simple magic such as Howl, Crackle, Tremor but all the destructive moves are done by his Core.
Hit its body with all the best like Sky Dragon Slash, Fast Dance Whirl, True Dragon Rise and White Apocalypse. It will heal occasionally but it's only circa 1200HP of healing compared to your 4000-5000HP of damage that can be caused in an attack. Keep hitting its Core and watch for his heads as they can get annoying sometimes, heal with magic like Alheal and use Droplets of Life if the situation is critical.
