In Grandia III magic appears in the form of the four basic elements of Fire, Wind, Water and Earth. No character has a specific magic moveset but magic is available to be used after assigning specific spells to each party member. A character can equip more magic by increasing their Magic Level. Each spell has a base power and preparation time but this can be altered by equipping a character with certain Mana Eggs acquired throughout the game.

Fire magics primary purpose is to deal damage to a selection of foes. In addition there is a single buffing spell which increases attack.

EarthEdit

Earth magic has the greatest variety of uses of all the elemental types in Grandia III. The ability to deal damage, cure status abnormalities and buff your party's stats are among its many uses.

WaterEdit

Water magic is more commonly known for its spells that heal the party's HP but it can also be used to deal devastating damage with ice.

Wind magic is mainly used to deal damage to many foes at once, it can also be used to cause confusion or move block, instant death and can also be used to buff the party's speed.
