Melfice is a boss from Grandia II. He is encountered on the Grail Mountains. Melfice is encountered wielding the Maken Valborg and the Regenerator. Melfice has the ability to cast Evil Horn Attack, Wailing Soul Slash, Demon Horde Slash, Poizn, Tremor and Quake.
Battle Strategy[]
There are three targets here, Melfice, his sword and the regenerator. Forget the sword and the regenerator and don't waste your SP and MP on them. Use Flying Tenseiken, Beast-King Smash and Fast Dance-Whirl on Melfice while Elena should use nothing but healing and recovery magic like Alheal, Cure and Droplets of Life.
Melfice is very unpredictable and he can blast you with his Wailing Soul Slash, Demon Horde Slash or he can just hit you with his normal attack. Try to reach stability in this battle, keep using those moves on Melfice and watch very closely your HP, if it gets less than 1000 heal immediately.
